All In Vain
05:58
|

Saturday night life
Around with friends
Youth and freedom
The city offers fun
Drunkenness and euphoria
Alcohol and drugs
Sex, music and party
Until the road in the dark...
...bites you like a snake...
The night wind blows
More lights, more sounds
Nothing feels real
As the blood expands
Car wrecks scattered
Along the black asphalt
Excited voices in background
A race against time...
...but it was all in vain...

Closed in an abyss of infinite black
I feel tight the coils of emptiness
As I feel my breath fade away
And vanish all traces of vitality
There’s no more sun to warm me
The happy scent of wildflowers
Just grey and endless paranoia
Between the concrete pillars
Desolate industrial landscape
My body has become a machine
A cog of this civilization
That warps the nature of life
The rain falls cold and steady
Only clouds on the horizon
Happiness is just a memory
Of a life that no longer exists

Night Eternal
07:29
|
|||
Sitting motionless on a chair
Wrists bound by a rope
A tissue over the mouth
Eyes wide open full of fear
Two strangers entered the house
Armed with blade with covered face
They strike with extreme violence
Anger and fear in acid sweat
“Where’s the money?”
Little cash in the room
“Where are the jewels?”
Ring and necklace on the nightstand
They look in vain for a safe
Because in reality there isn’t one
Intimidation out of control
And more blood is shed
On last blow struck
Falling, kissing the floor
Then a profound silence falls
And the night eternal becomes

I remember a time when
The sun shone on me
When the air was fresh
And the world of color full
Then one damned day
Than letter to me came
Everything has turned grey
And my world fell apart...
I tried to get on my feet
To look for another job
But them I had no choice
And my life has changed
I’ve lost my home, my car
And even my dignity
My wife left me alone
And my life fell apart...
Now I live on the street
With other failures like me
Outcasts without any hope
The waste of this metropolis
A sidewalk I call home
Newspapers I call read
I don’t account to anyone
And I live on bites of other people’s lives...

Natural Beauty
04:58
|
|||
I would like to see you fly on the wings of the wind
To see you fly in front of the fullmoon
Dancing in the sky with the shining stars
You, natural beauty of the firmament
I see the white light in your eyes
When you look at me, full of love
I feel the sweet honey of your lips
When they gently touch mine
I would like to see you walking on the waves of the sea
To see you glide on the white foam
Dancing in the swirl of salt water
You, natural beauty of the oceans
I see the sinuosity of your body
When you hold me in your arms
I feel the sweet of your skin
When intense inebriates my senses
I love you my darling...

Invisible Enemy
09:12
|
|||
It’s still dark. Slowly I open my eyes
I try to perceive the physics of my body
Then a pain, like a blade, pierces me
My waking nightmare begins again...
I close my eyes and grit my teeth
My body freezes in a death grip
Tense nerves and contracted muscles
As if soaked in acid and passed over salt...
A dull cry - Soul torn apart
A life of torture - My body rebels
I’ve no hope - I can’t fight
Invisible Enemy - Destroy me from within
I try to react and move
But the pain is out of control
I’ve to be able to stretch
Extend my arm and hand
Grasp the hope, medicines
A sip of water and then wait
The expected benefit
To allay all this pain...
My life is a wicked trap
A damned daily hell
Where I am always alone
Confined in a black despair
No other can understand
No other wants to understand
Ignoring is more convenient
And I’m completely alone...
